A WOMAN who allegedly stole a television from the Camperdown Hospital has been charged with 11 offences.

Senior Constable Marty Howells said the 26-year-old Carrum Downs woman was arrested in Camperdown on Sunday afternoon after a witness identified her.

"She's been charged with 11 offences including theft, burglary, driving offences, drug use and drug trafficking," he said.

Senior Constable Howells said it was also alleged the woman almost ran over an elderly man as she left the hospital.
