Tapper, who claimed a bronze medal on Sunday night with the Australian women’s team, was bundled out of the mixed doubles in the third round on Wednesday night (AEST).
The 24-year-old and partner Heming Hu had a bye in the first round, before defeating Kenya 3-0 in the second round. They were beaten by Canadian pair Zhen Eugene Wang and Mo Zhang in the third round, 3-0.
Tapper said earlier this week she and Hu had only been playing together for seven months and was realistic about her chances.
She made history at the event, becoming the first Australian Paralympian to play on the Commonwealth Games team.
