Staff went pink for the expanding Leila Rose Foundation, which supports families and children affected by rare childhood cancers.
Branch manager Helen Boyd said they hoped the day would draw attention to the foundation and raise funds for its work.
“We adopted the pink theme and had morning and afternoon tea raffles and special donations,” she said. “Also, if customers took a ‘selfie’ with one of our employees and posted it to our Facebook page, we donated $2.”
Dr Andrew Chow and Tracy Chow started the foundation in memory of their daughter Leila Rose, who died of a rare form of cancer.
Mrs Chow said so far the foundation had supported 10 families.
She said it had appointed an advocate and was hoping to raise the foundation profile.
“All money raised goes towards supporting families. Every little bit helps,” she said.
