The inquiry relates to the Wilde-trained mare Finley Harper, which was found by a veterinary surgeon to have blood in the vicinity of its near side jugular before the running of the 3470-metre race.
Stewards took evidence from Symon and training partner Bill Wilde, while treatment logs were also tendered.
Pre and post-race blood samples were taken from the five-year-old mare, as well as post-race urine samples.
Wilde said he would comment once more information was forwarded from the stewards.
