They will be given guided tours around the municipality and a chance to mix with district businesses, organisations and clubs.
The visitors will be part of the shire council’s second regional open day and is a follow-up to the Regional Victoria Living Expo in Melbourne in April where invitations were given to people who showed genuine interest in the region.
Glenelg Shire mayor John Northcott said some of the highlights would be visiting Casterton, for the working dog festival, and Nelson.
“Common themes at the expo were that people wanted a lifestyle change, more affordable housing, a place to retire and a better quality of life with their families — I think we can offer all of that and more,” Cr Northcott said.
