IT wasn't quite the Oscars, but there were celebrations nonetheless when Warrnambool held a night to recognise filming of the Oddball movie in the city.

The event, at the Lighthouse Theatre, featured actor Shane Jacobson, director Stuart McDonald and producer Richard Keddie.
Filming began in mid-May in Warrnambool's CBD, followed by shooting at Flagstaff Hill, areas around Viaduct Road and Thunder Point.
