Reserves match called off after player breaks leg

LATEST: A RUSSELLS Creek reserves player broke his leg during today's match against East Warrnambool at the Reid Oval. 

The game was abandoned after the player, aged in his 20s, broke his leg just before the three quarter time siren. 

An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said the man was treated for a fractured leg on the ground before being taken to the Warrnambool Base Hospital in a stable condition.
