Organisers hope to beat last year’s result, when about $4000 was raised at Victoria Park.
“This is our eighth year and as far as we know we’ll be the only swap meet in the south-west region on that weekend,” Koroit Lions Club sub-committee member Bruce Brown said.
“We’re open to all type of vehicles and machinery, swap sales and car boot sales,” Mr Brown said.
“Gates will open at 7am and the event will run til about 1pm.
“Swap meet sites are $15, general admission is $5 and show vehicles and drivers can come in for free.”
Local fire brigade members will operate a fund-raising barbecue.
Mr Brown said participants in the Black Dog Ride by motorcyclists to raise awareness of depression would call in about 10am.
