Artists Danny Spooner, Tom Richardson, The Mae Trio and Lisa O’Neill will play at the event, hosted by Rotary clubs of Warrnambool and Port Fairy at the Lighthouse Theatre.
The inaugural charity show last year was a sell-out and raised about $10,000.
Warrnambool Central Rotary past president Bob Coffey said profits raised from the event were donated to the Rotary Peace Scholarship Program.
The program offers 50 scholarships each year at five designated universities throughout the world, which teach post graduate courses in peace studies.
“The Warrnambool clubs and Port Fairy decided to try and do it each year with the help of the Folk Festival to attract these amazing artists to Port Fairy for the long weekend,” Mr Coffey said.
“Those artists that arrive early and are available, Jamie McKew recommends and we’ve been able to snap them up.”
Mr Coffey said the concert line-up was impressive.
“Jamie McKew (musical director), from Port Fairy Folk Festival, contacted a number of artists he believed would be sincerely attached to the whole concept of the peace movement,” he said.
“This year I think there is something for everyone.”
