POOR weather conditions have prevented the Moyne Shire from undertaking weed spraying in the Heytesbury district.

A number of spraying sessions were scheduled in the Mepunga, Nirranda, Peterborough, Nullawarre and Curdievale areas but had to be called off or delayed due to persistent wet weather during the past three months.
“(Spraying) will occur in the coming months once the landscape has dried out,” the shire said.
Weed control measures have already taken place around Port Fairy.
