TAP’s On! will showcase the ways Timboon P-12 School, Nullawarre and District Primary School and Simpson Primary School have integrated agriculture into their curriculum over the past 18 months.
About 600 students are set to participate in project activities tomorrow at Timboon P12 from 10.30am, while visitors can interact with masterclasses run by local chefs at 11am and 1pm.
TAP co-ordinator Andrea Vallance said the objective was to enhance learning opportunities for students and encourage them to consider agricultural educational pathways.
“We want them to focus on real life situations and reassess their work as they meet challenges, focusing on business initiatives,” Ms Vallance said.
The Dairy Australia development program, supported by Timboon P-12 School and WestVic Dairy, integrates local industry specialists into the curriculum to aid learning.
