The My Island Home singer said it was her third or fourth Port Fairy Folk Festival.
“It’s the first time my band has played since our last Port Fairy Folk Festival,” she said.
“It keeps me on my toes.
“It will bring a different energy.
“I’m nervous and excited as well. They’re the kind of nerves I always experience.”
Anu said the festival was a highlight on the touring circuit and she was glad to be back.
She said the crowds responded well and embraced the festival.
“This is an experienced, hard- core festival,” she said.
“You’ve just got to go with it. They aren’t going nowhere anytime soon.”
