If you're still hoping to take part in the three and a half days of high octane auto action, The Standard has five tickets to give away to the reader with the "hottest" car.
To enter our competition, submit a photo of your car with a caption, name and contact details using our iPhone and Android apps, under the assignment titled "Summernats comp - Hottest cars".
Entries must be in by Thursday December 20, with online voting closing on December 30. The winner will be contacted on December 31.

Summernats 26 will be held at Exhibition Park in Canberra from January 3 to 6 2013.
The Summernats Citycruise will be returning with a procession of over 200 cars down Canberra’s Northbourne Avenue on Thursday January 3.
