His side confronts minor premier Reeves in tonight's season showdown at the Arc.
While the top-side heads into the contest as firm favourite, Stow is confident his group can challenge for the trophy.
In the first semi-final, Reeves snatched the ticket to the decider in a gruelling five-set battle, with a 15-12 win in the last.
"We are pretty even," Stow said.
"We've both got our strengths and weaknesses.
"Now we know we can match it with them."
The dominant Reeves only dropped one match for the year, against Thumpers.
Stow's team stumbled in five encounters.
"We're all consistent players," he said.
"Our overall game has improved.
"We're very even."
Shane Grundy, Andrew Giblin, Karl Van Rooy, Sam Sturgess, James Ross, Adam Knell, Michael Ryan and Stow will suit up for Thumpers.
Stow said he was impressed with new recruits Grundy and Giblin.
"Shane played for a bit when he was a kid but he hasn't played for a long time," he said.
"All of his skills are pretty solid.
"Andrew's back work has been really strong."
Rather than committing to weekly training sessions, Stow said Thumpers "just rock up" on game nights.
He said the casual approach to the sport had worked in their favour.
"Sometimes teams don't gel but our side comes together really well," he said.
"We've got stronger as the season's gone on."
Stow admitted tonight's big stage could rattle the relaxed bunch.
"They might be a bit excited and a bit nervous," he said.
"But they will be able to handle the pressure."
Reeves outside hitter Brad Hunt was likely to trouble Thumpers.
Stow predicted the match would be determined in the fifth set.
"We just have to go out there and do what we have to do," he said.
"(Reeves) will never give up, they will fight to the end."
The men's and mixed finals start from 7pm at the Arc.
