Its home track at Cobden hosted the Victorian Closed Titles last weekend, a season-ending event which welcomed about 130 competitors.
South West Kart Club members will enjoy a break over the Christmas-New Year period, with the club's next competition in early February, when it hosts the opening round of the 2011 Country Series.
Club vice-president Chris Place expected the track to have a new addition for round one of the series.
"At that event, we hope to open our new state-of-the-art toilet block," he said.
"There's toilets, showers and first-aid facilities.
"Corangamite Shire has assisted us with it."
There were first aid facilities at the Grayland Street track over the weekend at the state titles as organisers were forced to prepare for contrasting weather conditions.
"There was three inches of rain in Camperdown at the (Lakes and Craters Three Day Event) and two-and-a-half inches at Tesbury," Place said.
"But we never got a drop.
"We were blessed by the weather."
With rising temperatures on Saturday, competitors were encouraged to keep up their fluids, with Place pleased that only one driver suffered from dehydration.
After heats on Saturday, Sunday saw some epic 17-lap finals contested.
"That's the distance from Cobden to Terang," Place said.
"All were good races.
"It was a great event.
"We had three events three weekends in-a-row and we were lucky that we managed to run all three."
