The reigning Warrnambool and District Bowling Association pennant runner-up outclassed Port Fairy in all three rinks to win 91-47.
Karina Ellery, who leads for Barbara Bibby, helped her rink towards a 25-16 victory over Gill Phillips.
Despite the clean sweep, Ellery said other elements made for a tough match.
"The conditions were very tricky," she said.
"It was so cold and windy.
"It was just a miserable day."
Ellery said her rink raced away to an early lead and was never challenged by Port Fairy.
"We were up all day," she said.
"After dinner they played a lot better but we held on enough to win.
"They got three on the last end but we'd already won by then."
In other games, Denise Hillier defeated Kay Miller 34-18 and Beryl Oakley toppled Jan Norton 32-13.
"We were more consistent all over the green," Ellery said.
"We were leading all day.
"It was our home green, which makes a difference."
The win secures City Gold at the top of the division one table and gives it overwhelming favouritism heading into next week's clash against Lawn Tennis.
Gold could also draw confidence from defending champion Warrnambool Gold's narrow escape from City Green yesterday.
Warrnambool won 80-79, no thanks to the glittering performance of promoted Green skipper Nancy Ellis.
Ellis eclipsed Joan Anderson 34-21.
"It was a great effort by the Green ladies," Ellery said.
In other matches, Terang skipper Margaret Sumner trounced City Blue's Beryl Duncan 42-6 to deliver the home side a 89-41 win.
Timboon rolled a gallant Lawn Tennis 75-68.
