THE Scorpions evaded the swats of the Geminis to win 3-1 in the Action Squash Club A grade autumn pennant final on Sunday.

Led by Jason Bilson, the triumphant team only dropped the number-three seed rubber.
Victorious fourth seed Justin O'Keefe set the ball rolling in the first match of the day, convincingly defeating Leigh Currell 3-0.
"There weren't too many nerves, everyone had been there and done that a few times," Bilson said.
"We beat (the Geminis) in the semi's and after the number four's game we were pretty confident."
A five-set slog in the second-seed contest was eventually won by Scorpion Peter Flett over Tim Milne 3-2.
Bilson toppled Pru Luker 3-0 and Gemini Zeke Sloane got his side's only points on the board with a 3-1 win against Matt Morrow.
"It was pretty competitive," Bilson said.
"All of the matches were of a high quality.
In the Wednesday night decider - which was also played on Sunday - the Cats outclassed the Bombers 4-0.
Colin O'Meara, Gavin Flett, Tim Laird and John Thomas were all too strong for Peter Flett, Ian Fletcher, Dianne Pasco and Damian Jones.
Club presentations followed the two finals, with Bilson collecting the best performance trophy as number-one seed in A grade.
The 16-week spring season starts in three weeks time.
"Everyone is looking forward to next pennant," Bilson said.
A grading night is scheduled for Monday, July 12 at Action Fitness Centre.
