Day two of the festival drew a sellout crowd with kids of all ages enjoying the range of live performances and hands-on activities.
Fiona Inglis, from series two of the hit television show, and Siena Johnston, 10, from Junior Masterchef teamed up for the master class to demonstrate how to cook a hazelnut and mushroom coil with a zucchini and pomegranate salad.
Ms Inglis, a primary school teacher, said she was pleased to be in Warrnambool as part of the festival.
“Getting the kids to get in there and show them how make it themselves is so fun,” she said.
“I think the whole festival is fantastic, it’s for all different age groups and there is plenty to do.”
Ms Inglis and her pupils also participate in the primary school Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program, which teaches children how to grow produce in their own school garden, harvest it and then turn it into nutritional meals.
Port Fairy Consolidated Primary School pupils also involved with the Stephanie Alexander program will also host master classes at the festival in the kids’ kitchen.
