South West Sport executive officer Michael Neoh said about 6000 people participated in about 60 sports across 10 days.
“It’s been fantastic and us as organisers have visited as many events as we can,” he said.
“It’s great to see the variation. Today there was shooting, tennis and athletics.
“It’s great to see the minor sports shining.”
Warrnambool City Council ran the annual event, which celebrated its 30th year this year.
“Being the 30th year we are really pleased the support is as strong as when we first initiated it,” Neoh said yesterday.
Neoh said while the South West Games had officially wrapped up, there were a handful of events still to come, with some stretching into December.
