The winter solstice was celebrated in stunning fashion in Warrnambool over the weekend. Neon installations by artist Carla O'Brien and a concert in the city's botanic garden drew rugged-up crowds.

THE RIGHT DIRECTION: Jessica Muller came from Geelong and enjoyed the evening in the garden.
