The 100-metre freestyle world champion will be joined by fellow Olympians Travis Mahoney and Sarah Katsoulis at the free open day at the Queens Road site on Saturday, November 17.
The trio will instruct an hour-long water safety session for AquaZone’s Learn To Swim students before a short address and question-and-answer session.
The athletes will also be available for autograph signings and photo opportunities.
Manager Ray Smith said there would be opportunities to get the swimmers’ autographs.
“We are very excited to have such top-level athletes joining us for our birthday celebrations,” Mr Smith said.
“The Learn To Swim students will have the very rare opportunity of a swimming lesson with an Olympic swimmer and everyone will be invited to ask the Olympians for their advice on swimming, training, health and fitness, which I’m sure will be inspirational for our swimmers and other sports people.”
The open day will feature a pool pony championship, inflatable play equipment including a slide and aqua-joust and a range of giveaways.
AquaZone will be open free to the public between 10am to 2pm for the 10th birthday celebrations on November 17.
