The father of two knows the pressure of assembling the perfect gift and that not everyone has the know-how to complete the job.
So he's offering to lend a hand, and in the spirit of the season, without charge.
"When people were buying swing sets, cubby houses and trampolines, they would then have to pay someone to put it together," he said.
"Christmas time is stretched already when you have children.
"It's such a big stress that no parent needs."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Mr Sutcliffe-Bentley came up with the idea around four years ago, finally going ahead with the plan this year.
He said it started off with helping others with Christmas gifts but offers for other assistance are also honoured.
Mr Sutcliffe-Bentley offers up to two hours of his time without charging a fee, instead requesting that people donate to a local charity.
Nine people have already taken up the offer, including four bookings for Christmas Eve.
"At the start the idea was to help people, then I thought if someone could benefit from it, it would be the charities," he said.
Mr Sutcliffe-Bentley said he was blown away with the "phenomenal" response, even receiving offers from people to help him lend a hand.
He already has jobs booked in Warrnambool and the Crossley and Koroit areas.
Mr Sutcliffe-Bentley even received a request from as far as Hamilton.
Mr Sutcliffe-Bentley is happy to juggle spending quality time with his family and helping others enjoy the festival season.
Mr Sutcliffe-Bentley and his family, partner Melissa Molloy and children Isabelle Sutcliffe-Bentley, aged 5, and Luca Sutcliffe-Bentley, 3, are celebrating the festive holiday over several days.
This weekend they will catch up with his family, then on Christmas Day in Warrnambool with his partner's family, then in Port Fairy with his grandmother.
"Since I've had children, I think about things more than I ever did," Mr Sutcliffe-Bentley said.
"My children absolutely adore Christmas, they started singing Christmas carols in July.
"The weather is good, people are getting out spending time with family and friends.
"There's no monetary value to put a price on it."
