A new property in north Warrnambool went under the hammer for $20,000 above the reserve price on Friday night.

The 13-month-old property at 34 Keilli Drive sold for $610,000 to a Surf Coast buyer.
Ray White Real Estate agent Harry Ponting said the bidding started at $550,000.
"It's a really good result from a three-week campaign," he said.
"It went to an out of town buyer from Torquay relocating to Warrnambool for work. They were looking at up to 20 properties per week in Warrnambool."
The four-bedroom home with two separate living areas overlooks Russells Creek walking track. It came ahead of a busy day of auctions on Saturday.
Meanwhile Port Fairy's real estate market shows no signs of abating with an east beach property selling for between $3.6 million to $3.9 million on Friday.
Robertson Real Estate sold the four bedroom residence at 67 Beach Street.
Jay Everall, agent for Robertson's said numerous potential buyers inspected the unique property which has magnificent views of Port Fairy's east beach and the Moyne River.
"The property was keenly sought after before two parties expressed interest," Everall said.
"Both parties expressed interest for the property within the price range of $3.6 million to $3.9 million. We are currently holding discussions with the vendors before finalising the sale. Both parties, who expressed interest in the property are from south-west Victoria and have spent holidays in Port Fairy on numerous occasions."
The sales comes on the back of two east beach properties selling for a total of over $10.5 million in the last fortnight.
