The lime, dark green, black and white uniform has replaced the largely dark green and white outfit.
City Memorial president Garry Davey said it was time for a change for the club which competes in the Western District Playing Area competition.
"It's been discussed for a few years now we needed to update, the old uniform has been in the club for 24 years and our committee decided we needed an update," he said.
"So we had a working committee working on that for a while and we finally came up with what we've got at the moment which we're very proud of and happy with - it's made a real big difference.
"We gave the club players 12 months to change the bottom part of their uniform."

Davey said feedback from members and other clubs had been positive.
"It's been very positive, we had a few clubs here for Saturday pennant and we got very good comments from a few of the opposing sides," he said.
While Davey plays weekend pennant with City Gold he was on hand to watch the return of midweek pennant on Tuesday morning.
It was the first round of the pennant after the start was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.
"It's been really fantastic to get back, we're two weeks behind the normal start time," he said.
Davey's weekend pennant team played on Saturday morning which was unusual as other division one matches were played in the afternoon.
He explained the game was shifted to the morning to limit the amount of players on the City Memorial greens at one time.
He said COVID safety was part of the reason the club had decided to go down that path.
"Some weeks we would have 160 players here if we kept it all in the afternoon," he said of weekend pennant.
He added the club would look to hold a game in the morning when one City Memorial team meets another City side.
Hence why City Gold and City Red played on Saturday morning.
City Memorial has 128 bowlers across its 11 weekend pennant teams.
It has 92 players competing in midweek pennant.
In division one matches at City Memorial on Tuesday, City Rubies won a 58-56 thriller against Terang Gold while City Sapphires proved too strong for City Diamonds and came away with a 61-51 triumph.
Meanwhile, Koroit Orange scored a 61-44 shot victory against Warrnambool Gold and Timboon Maroon claimed a 76-69 win over Port Fairy Gold.
