She brings a wealth of experience having played in and coached netball premierships at senior and junior level.
And Mungean hopes to help the group progress while also enjoying the 2022 campaign.
"I want to pass on all my knowledge and share as much as I can and give them the ability and belief we can work our way up the ladder," she said.
"With them being so young as well we've got time to work with."

Mungean led Camperdown's division one side this year after many successful years of junior coaching.
That gave her the confidence to go for a top-grade Warrnambool and District league coaching role.
"I felt I did well and i just wanted to have a crack at open grade and thought the time was about right," she said.
Long-time friend and Allansford co-netball coordinator/A reserve coach Stacy Mills approached her about the gig.
Mungean already has a strong connection to the club with her sons Tyler, 24, and Zavier, 20, playing senior football.
Her daughter Jacoba, 22, is coaching Nirranda's 15 and under side next year.
They're a sporty family as her husband Jason is coaching Wesley-Yambuk's division one cricket team this summer.
"Being dairy farmers, winter is sort of my time and summer is his (Jason's) time to get off the farm and play sport," she said.
"So we do juggle a bit but we make it work."
Mungean will also coach Allansford's 17 and under outfit which she feels will help develop consistency across all grades.
"I'll be able to watch all the juniors coming through and give guidance to the coaches of the other junior grades," she said.
"I really want to work closely with the senior and junior coaches and make sure we're on the same page all the way through."
The new A grade mentor also wants to give 17 and under players exposure to senior netball so they can develop confidence playing against adults.
Mungean was born-and-bred at Heytesbury and played 199 games for Heytesbury/Timboon Demons.
Her involvement included coaching the Dees' A grade side in 2011 and leading the 17 and under team to back-to-back flags in 2010/11.
Mungean has led four 17 and under premiership sides - three at Timboon Demons and one at Camperdown.
She also played 150 senior matches with Camperdown in the Hampden league. She was playing-coach when the Magpies won the 2016 division three trophy. She also mentored the Magpies' 13 and under 2018 premiership team.
Mungean is also a Nirranda and District Netball Association life member. She has been involved as a player and coach and has been umpire coordinator for many years.
