Children taking part in TheirCare's before and after school programs have made 2000 loom bands to present to SWH staff.
TheirCare's Warrnambool region coordinator Mel Healey said the idea to make these brightly coloured rubber wrist bands came from the school children.
"We asked them what they would like to do to help make the staff at the hospital happy," Ms Healey said.
"They came up with the looms and have worked hard to create 2000 of them.
"It's a really nice thing to do for all the hospital staff, from the CEO to the cleaners."
Primary schools involved in the creative undertaking included Merrivale, Koroit and District, St Pius X, Warrnambool, Warrnambool East, Warrnambool West, Woolsthorpe, Grassmere and Woodford.
