The tools were stolen from a trailer, parked on the nature strip of a Mount Baimbridge Road address in Hamilton between Saturday, October 9, and Sunday, October 10.
A police spokesman said all the tools had a distinct yellow spray paint marking/tag to distinguish them.
"The Estwing hammer has a cut on the vinyl handle, filled with silicon," he said.
"The circular saw and recip saw both have Diablo brand blades attached, which are red and stand out against the green colour of the Makita brand."
Anyone with information is requested to contact Hamilton Police on 555 19100 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
