Avalon Nursery owner David Winters said when he arrived to his Lava Street shop on Saturday morning there was rubbish on the road, the QR check-ins had been ripped off the fence and a wheelie bin thrown over the front gate.
He said he had security camera footage of the incident which happened at 11.10pm on Friday night and if those responsible didn't come forward he would take the matter to police and post the security footage on social media.
Mr Winters said he believed the vandalism was the result of him speaking out on social media a few weeks ago when a staff member had been abused during the most recent lockdown.
He said he hoped those responsible would come forward and apologise.
"You'd think they would have by now, even if they are under the weather from last night," he said.
"I think this is some sort of repercussion from standing up for a staff member.
"At the end of the day we're all going through difficult times and we constantly have to be polite and nice.
