The company made a vaccination offer and workers, contractors and their immediate family members took up the opportunity to get a Pfizer injection.
About 400 people were vaccinated on Thursday and Friday and another 200 will line up next Thursday.
They will receive a second vaccination in three weeks' time.
The company said some workers had already received a first jab, but had trouble making a booking for a second and the exact number of vaccinated workers was not known.
Midfield utilised the services of internationally renowned healthcare company Aspen Medical Australia to vaccinate its workers.
Midfield's Dean McKenna said the company was delighted to play its part in ensuring the health of its workers and the community across the western district.
"We put the offer out to our workers, contractors and their immediate families to have the vaccination and there's been a big uptake," he said.
"It's a wonderful result to have 600 people. Initially, we were surprised with how many people took up the offer.
"Midfield fully understands its commitments relating to health and safety not only for its workers but the local community and that's why we decided to get on the front foot with the vaccinations.
"It's been a big job logistically to get everything in place for the vaccinations, but it's been made a lot easier with the support of Aspen Medical Australia and our human resources team.
"We had the 400 vaccinations this week and another 200 next Thursday, and we'll repeat the process in three weeks."
Mr McKenna said that with vaccination passports and special allowances likely to be introduced by governments, the company felt obliged to give workers every chance to be double vaccinated.
