JAMIESON Ballantyne prides himself on his aerobic capacity.
But he isn't putting a ceiling on improvement.
The Portland Tiger, who is also listed at NAB League outfit Greater Western Victoria Rebels, told The Main Break podcast he'd vie to take his running ability up a notch in preparation for October's AFL draft combine.
Ballantyne was one of eight Rebels-listed prospects invited to attend the event and will work to prove his physical ability to a host of elite recruiters.
"It's definitely something I pride myself on. In my game, I like to try to challenge my opponent on the wing by using my running ability," he said.

"It's one of my strengths but I'm always trying to improve it and maintain it, I guess.
"I've been training a fair bit throughout the year with extra running and whatnot and it's probably where I've been putting a lot of time and effort into."
Camperdown's Hamish Sinnott and Penshurst's Josh Rentsch were the other two south-west prospects picked to attend the combine.
Ballantyne said he was proud to get a call-up to the combine and praised both the Rebels and Portland for their hand is his development.
"I did the pre-season with the Rebels but on the nights back here I was down at (Hanlon Park)," he said.
"It's been good to come back and be part of a team that has been reasonably successful in Portland.
"I couldn't be happier to be a part of them. They've worked hard as a group. Coming into the season they weren't sure where they'd sit but the commitment from the boys and Holty throughout the year has been good."
The combine is set for October 9.
