Mister Dynamix, who won his last start at Ballarat, lines up against 15 rivals in a restricted race over 1400 metres.
Scott said Mister Dynamix had improved with the Ballarat victory under his belt.
"This is Mister Dynamix's toughest test," he said.
"It's a very strong field on Saturday but we'll have a throw at the stumps. I'm quietly confident he'll run very well. I've got a high opinion of Mister Dynamix.
"He's a quirky sort of galloper who has been slow maturing but he's just starting to put in all together now.
"He's had the three runs from a spell. I don't think he had the best of luck in his first two runs but made up for those efforts with a strong win at Ballarat last time. He's trained on very well from his Ballarat win."

Veteran jockey Craig Robertson, who rode Mister Dynamix to his Ballarat victory, rides the rising six-year-old on Saturday.
"Craig has a great understanding of the horse," Scott said.
"Craig rode Mister Dynamix perfectly last time. I don't have to load Craig with instructions. I'll only be asking him to have the horse on the pace. I feel that his best racing style is having him in a forward position."
Scott is toying with the idea Mister Dynamix could run in the $500,000 benchmark 80 Country Final over 1600 metres at the Flemington Carnival on November 4.
"I'm quietly confident he'll run out a strong 1600 metres which is the distance of the Country Final," he said.
"Saturday's race at Caulfield is a stepping stone to the rich race at Flemington.
"We've got to get some points on the board to get a run. It's just a wait and see at this stage but in an ideal world the $500,000 race is in our plans. We'll have a clearer idea after Saturday which path we go down in the future."
From his ten starts Mister Dynamix has won four races and earnt more then $83,000 in prizemoney for his connections.
