The Lighthouse Theatre announced on Thursday the much-loved musician had moved his two sold out shows to Thursday, September 16 and Friday, September 17 due to coronavirus restrictions in place across Victoria.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Lighthouse Theatre service manager Xavier Dannock said Kelly's shows had sold out in record time, and it was a relief punters would still be able to enjoy his music at a later date.
"We know how excited our Paul Kelly fans were to secure tickets to his shows," Mr Dannock said.
"We always aim to provide the best outcome for our patrons in circumstances like these so we were delighted to hear ticket holders only had to wait a few more weeks to see Paul Kelly on the Lighthouse Theatre stage."
The theatre has been closed during the state's fifth coronavirus lockdown.
"We know how excited the community is to get out and come back to see and enjoy live performances and we encourage them to buy tickets for their favourite shows despite the uncertainty," Mr Dannock said.
"If a show reschedules you can receive a refund if you cannot attend the new date and of course cancellations receive a full refund.
"We can't wait to open our doors once again to the community and be back at full capacity once again."
