The Nirranda netballer hopes the team's depth will help it at the Netball Victoria association championships in Ballarat on Sunday.
"I have a really talented team. It's been really exciting that we've had an abundance of goalies try out and be selected in the team which is usually not the case," Forth said.
"Usually it's always midcourt-heavy or defender-heavy. The exciting thing is, coming back from the year off, is getting the girls exposure to skill development.
"We also have a lot of talented players who are already playing senior grades in Saturday netball."
Forth said her aim was to help enhance players' skills and wins were not the number one priority.
She said victories would be a by-product of the team's hard work.
Forth had a squad of 16 and four training partners.
She had to make some changes but believes a strong training base means they'll click at the competition which consists of multiple short, sharp games.
"We have been training for quite a while now as they delayed the comp by a few weeks (due to COVID-19 lockdowns) from the original date," she said.
"It's been nice to get back in the swing of player development.
"We only get the two tournaments (this and Western Region) to get players talent identified and exposure to that higher representative netball."
