Detective Sergeant Jason von Tunk, of the Portland police crime investigation unit, said that in April the woman was charged by Warrnambool police officers with possessing, using and trafficking amphetamine.
She was released on bail to appear in court on August 17. Her bail conditions included an overnight curfew.
At the weekend, police located the woman in the poker machine room at the Richmond Henty Hotel at 11.45pm on Saturday night.
She initially refused a request by police to search her handbag, but a search was conducted and police officers allegedly found $2200 in cash as well as drugs.
In a container, officers allegedly located 13 bags of a crystal substance, believed to be methamphetamine, and six blue capsules.
The total weight of the ice was reportedly seven grams, well over the benchmark of three grams which triggers a trafficking charge.
The woman was arrested, taken to the Portland police station where she made no comment during an interview and she was remanded in custody to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday for a bail/remand hearing.
She has been charged with possessing, using and trafficking amphetamine, dealing with the proceeds of crime and breaching her bail conditions by breaching her overnight curfew and offending again.
Police prosecutors are expected to oppose bail being granted, claiming the woman is an unacceptable risk of continuing to offend.
