The club was formed at a meeting in Camperdown in the past fortnight.
Veterans Cricket Victoria (VCV) development officer Neville Crane expects the new club will be formally approved in the near future by the VCV board.
"In its initial season the club will be based in Camperdown. It is hoped that new clubs will be formed in following seasons in Colac and Warrnambool," he said.
"An application will be made to the Veterans Cricket Victoria board to affiliate a veterans team that includes both over 50s and over 60s players.
"It is planned that during the 2021/22 season the club will have eight games - four of those games will give priority to over 50s players and four will give priority to over 60s players.
"Home and away (two each) games are planned to be played against Hamilton, Ballarat, Geelong, and Bendigo (Vic Country).
"Hopefully there will be sufficient interest in the second season to form separate over 50s and over 60s teams. Games are played on a Sunday (40-over cricket)."

Allan Dobeson, who is helping organise the team, said the Camperdown meeting had great attendance and the club was looking for more players.
He's been playing veterans cricket for eights seasons and absolutely loves it.
"It's about having a good game of cricket but everyone gets a crack," he said.
Dobeson has previously played veterans for Sunbury/Macedon Ranges and Hamilton.
He said there was even the chance to tour internationally with veterans cricket. He played with Vic Country against England in 2016.
This year's veterans national championships are being held on the Sunshine Coast.
There's also a five-day carnival in Echuca in March each year.
