The midfielder, who is in for his first game this season, is one of three inclusions with Tom Batten (hamstring) and Lewis Holland joining him for Saturday's clash at Terang.
Callum Grundy (corked thigh), Ned Timms, and Jack Burke are outs for the third-placed Eagles.
Coach Adam Dowie said the club welcomed the former Cat and Blue back with open arms but added he will be eased back into Hampden league football.

"He had a six-week period over in Western Australia and we've been keeping in contact and when he went over there he thought he was going to play but he loves North Warrnambool and we love him," he said.
"We're going to have to manage his load and time in terms of the role he's playing.
"He has been able to get six or seven weeks of solid training and he's the sort of guy who hasn't had a lot of soft tissue injuries, like he has had shoulder problems but never hamstring or calves so he comes in and the more games he plays the better he's going to get."
Dowie said Batten was ready to go after his injury.
"Tommy is just coming back from a hamstring and it has been four to five weeks now but his rehab this time has been better than last time," he said.
"We've been better organised and we've got a guy running our rehab and hamstring conditioning. He has had 10 steps he has had to tick off."

Portland and Camperdown both welcome back experienced heads for their clash at Hanlon Park on Saturday.
The Tigers welcome back Jake Edwards, who missed last week due to Melbourne's coronavirus restrictions and Aaron Shepherd (fractured cheekbone) while under 18.5s players Kade Lovell gets his first chance at senior level.
"He's quick, got good skills and is an exciting player who moves well so he can play half-forward, wing, half-back or anywhere around there," coach Jarrod Holt said.
"He'll compliment our style really well. We have had an eye on him and he has had good form in the under 18s.
"He was unlucky that he had to wait this long for a game but he's coming in with good form and has been training well and we're really keen to give him a good opportunity."
Tylar Watts, Zane Barker (Geelong) and Daniel Falcone (leg) are the outs.
Camperdown assistant coach Jack Williams is one of three inclusions alongside Jason Robinson and Judah Dundon. Gus Gordon (groin), Toby Kent (corky), Charlie Brett (reserves) are out.
The Melbourne-based trio were all unable to play last week due to the city's restrictions.
Koroit will have two debutants for its clash against Hamilton Kangaroos, which will be without Levi Dare after he departed the club during the week.
Jack Block and Sam Cozens have earnt their debut in the Saints side after showing strong form in the reserves and under 18.5s respectively.
Reigning club best and fairest Alex Pulling is also an inclusion for the Saints. The midfielder returns from a thumb injury he sustained during the coronavirus shutdown.
Thomas Baulch returns to the Greater Western Victoria Rebels side while Will Petersen is rested due to a tight hamstring and Liam O'Sullivan has returned to the reserves.
Warrnambool regains Aiden Grant, Louis O'Connor and Jordan Foott for its clash against Port Fairy at Gardens Oval.
Grant returns from the reserves while coach Ben Parkinson said O'Connor had been knocking the door down with strong performances in the reserves.
Foott returns from a long-term hip injury to play his first game for the season.
Cobden will blood under 18.5s and Greater Western Rebels under 17 player Tyler Humphrey this weekend against South Warrnambool.
The young utility will play in defence for the Bombers, who also welcome back Paul Pekin (calf) from injury.
"It's his year first year here and he has been really committed with training," coach Adam Courtney said.
"He's keen to better his football and he has played a bit of under 17 Rebels at start of the year. He is a good prospect and we are looking forward to see what he can do.
"He brings versatility. He is tall at 6'4 and he can play forward or back. He will most likely start in our back line and see how he goes from there. We have full confidence in him.
"He has good hands, is highly skilled and Christian Koroneos, Ricky Sullivan and Zac Green they will help him out and he will fit in quite well."
Jack McGlade (ankle) and Sam Giblett (dislocated AC joint) will miss this weekend.
