Spring Creek - born when former Grassmere Cricket Association clubs Woolsthorpe and Mailors Flat decided to create a new identity in May - was accepted on Monday night.
It means all ex-GCA clubs except Yambuk - who is expected to finalise a merger with Wesley-CBC at its upcoming annual general meeting - have found a permanent home in the WDCA.
WDCA chairman Gordon McLeod said the acceptance was subject to meeting the association's strict entry requirements. It will need to be able to field two juniors and two senior teams.
He expected the club to be a valuable addition to the association's growing stable.
"It's a growth corridor and there are two grounds out there, which are in fairly good condition as hard wickets," McLeod said.
"It's important for the sporting community out there as they seem to have lost a lot of other social activities, barring the hotel.
"There are ovals sitting there which are quite good and it'll be good to utilise them."
McLeod said it was important for people to have the ability to participate in sport in their own communities.
"People like having it there in their own community environment," he said.
"They've done a lot of hard work to get to where they are but there's more hard work ahead (to fulfill the requirements)."
