"It's nice to finally get a few wins under the belt, especially after the weekend," she said of the A grade team.
"We're quite a new and fresh team - I think with only three girls from the past couple of seasons at Collegians - so everyone else is new, so for us to start gelling together as a team is taking a little bit longer than what we hoped.
"But we're slowly getting there and I think we're going to hit our straps at the right end of the season which will be good."

The fifth-ranked Warriors' next challenge is Kolora-Noorat at Noorat Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
Lynch is one of numerous new players with the likes of Grace Bell (Koroit) and Emily Jansen Van Beek (Timboon Demons) also on board.
While Lynch knew a few people before arriving, she said the transition had been made easier going through the same experience as the club's other new faces.
"The likes of Grace Bell, I used to play against her, so it's really nice to be playing with her now," she said.
"And having a few new faces at the club, it sort of makes you feel like you're not the only new person."
Lynch joined the Warriors this year following nearly 300 games, between juniors and seniors, at Port Fairy in the Hampden league.
"It was only at the start of this new season, following COVID," she said.
"When COVID first hit, I was still coaching Port Fairy's under 13s side and was still playing at Port Fairy.
"At the end of that season I decided I'd be making the move to Collegians."
Lynch choose the Warriors as she had links to the club.
"My partner (senior footballer Tom Lambevski) and his brothers have played there for the past few years and my father (Les) was actually involved at Collegians before I was born," she said.
"So there are some family ties there along with my partner and his family."
Lynch explained her dad played for Allansford and then had a stint for Old Collegians. He was also a runner during one of the Warriors' premierships.
Lynch was a massive coup for the Warriors given she won the 2019 Hampden league division one best and fairest as the Seagulls' captain.
She also won Port Fairy club best and fairest awards and played in grand finals.
Lynch, who played centre for the Seagulls in 2019, has been given a new challenge this season.
She is predominantly playing wing attack while sometimes jumping into the centre.
Coach Jess Toleman earlier this week told The Standard Lynch and Chelsea Quinn were great support to 14-year-old Hannah van de Camp, who made her senior debut on Saturday.
"Hannah is a great young junior, we do have a number of great juniors at Old Collegians which we're super lucky to have playing and developing through our senior grades," Lynch said.
"Hannah's been one of four juniors that has trained with the A grade this season.
"She's the second to be able to take the court so far.
"That's the one thing I've noticed coming to Collegians is they're really big on junior development which is a massive feat for a club to be able to promote and put their time into (juniors)."
