Tribunal secretary for AFL Western District Peter Martin said Nirranda requested an investigation after its player was injured.
He said the investigator recommended Glennen be called before the independent league tribunal to answer a charge of unbecoming conduct in that he struck Nirranda's Alex Ross to the face.

Martin said Glennen pleaded guilty to the incident which occurred in the first quarter of the round four match between Kolora-Noorat and Nirranda on May 1.
The Blues won the match 6.11 (47) to 7.4 (46) at Nirranda Recreation Reserve.
Nirranda is sitting second on the ladder while the Power is fifth on the reserves table.
This week Kolora-Noorat faces Old Collegians while the Blues have Merrivale.
The Blues and Tigers seniors clash shapes up as the match of the round this weekend.
Merrivale is sitting third while Nirranda is top-of-the-table.
Allansford versus Russells Creek is another game that could go down to the wire with both teams pushing for finals this season.
The A grade netball battle between the Tigers and Blues is set to be a ripper as it's a grand final rematch.
Merrivale beat Nirranda by one goal to claim the 2019 WDFNL premiership.
