Boom recruit Jacob Mahony is pairing talented tall Ben Fraser, while livewire Mark Clissold has added another dynamic to the Power's offensive options.
Mahony - the Warrnambool and District league's leading goalkicker to date - is providing a damaging target.
His 21 majors - an average of 5.45 a game - has included bags of nine, seven and five against potential top-five opposition in Nirranda, Russells Creek and South Rovers.
But Power coach Ben Walsh said his men were wary of becoming "too reliant" on the former Camperdown skipper and would ensure it could spread the load.
But we don't want to be too focused on them. We feel like it'll get better and the roles will become a bit clearer for them too.
- Ben Walsh
"I think (Fraser and Mahony) have only played two games together but they're both playing well. I think against Nirranda, in round four, they had 12 goals between them," Walsh said.
"But we don't want to be too focused on them. We feel like it'll get better and the roles will become a bit clearer for them too.
"Jacob played a little bit higher (against South Rovers) and it worked well. We've added Mark Clissold to that mix as well and while he's not as tall, he's certainly dangerous."
Together, Fraser, Mahony and Clissold have combined for a total 32 majors from just five matches.
Walsh said Clissold's field kicking meant he was a versatile option.
"He's really dynamic. When he's kicking well, his field kicking is probably the best in the league," he said.
"We're able to use him in a variety of roles. Against Rovers, we had him kicking in to our deep forwards and I think he had seven shots at goal himself when he played a bit deeper later on.
"The best thing about Ben, Jacob and Mark is that they're all prepared to do the best thing for the side. They'll go a bit higher up if needed or see what's needed week-by-week."
Walsh said Mahony, based in Melbourne, was invested in the Power's fortunes.
"He's played a lot of footy and has been a captain and is a great sounding board for me. He's great to bounce ideas off.
"He keeps telling me he can't kick but he's about 21.1 for the season so far and can't miss."
