President John MacInnes said the concert has been held every year in Warrnambool's St Joseph's Church since 2008 except for 2020.
"We're delighted to be back live at St Joseph's presenting our lucky 13th in what is really the 14th year of these concerts," he said.
"What better way to celebrate Mothers Day than to have a family lunch followed by an afternoon of wonderful live music?"
Hamilton professional conductor Angus Christie will be leading the orchestra for the event.
"This is going to be an uplifting concert and will put people in a fantastic mood on Mother's Day," he said. "After you've given mum all her presents, you can come along to the concert."
Mr Christie conducts the Hamilton Symphony Orchestra and the Limestone Coast Symphony Orchestra and said the upcoming event with the Warrnambool musicians has a diverse program.
"What's so great about this event is that there are so many great local soloists performing as well," he said.
"Leah Oswin has a fantastic soprano voice and is going to be a big hit.
"We also have three world premieres throughout the program. One is by local composer Ken Stott and will be performed by Matthew Lim on violin. There will also be two pieces by David Cundy who grew up in Glenthompson.
"Our other soloists are Andrew Philpot on trumpet and Sarasa Deguchi on violin who are both incredible.
"I think it's going to be an amazing concert."
The Mother's Day Concert begins at 2.30pm on Sunday, May 9 at St Joseph's Church.
Tickets may be booked in advance though the Lighthouse Theatre's box office, lighthousetheatre.com.au or by phone on 5559 4999. There will also be limited tickets available at the door.
