Police say a brazen thief entered an apartment at Lady Bay Resort on Tuesday and stole keys and then a car while the victim slept just metres away.

Warrnambool Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the aggravated burglary at the Pertobe Road premise.
Detectives were told the offender gained entry to a ground floor apartment sometime between 4am and 4.30am Tuesday.
The offender stole a wallet and keys to the victims car before fleeing in the victims 2017 white Holden Colorado utility, registration 1LV 7OU.
The victim, a 61-year-old man, was asleep at the time of the incident.
Detectives have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The man is described to be solid in build, with dark skin and was wearing a hoodie and track pants.
