3AW breakfast hosts Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft, fresh from another big ratings win, are broadcasting their show from Port Fairy's Oak and Anchor Hotel.
The move to broadcast the award-winning program in Port Fairy is an initiative of Visit Victoria which is trying to promote regional areas after they were impacted by COVID.
Stevenson said he was looking forward to the trip to Port Fairy.
"I'm very fond of the region because it has produced one of my favourite footballers of all time, Jordan Lewis," he said.
Oak and Anchor Hotel owner Blair Robertson said it was wonderful news for Port Fairy and the region.
"We're grateful for Visit Victoria and 3AW to come up with the initiative which will see Ross and Russel host their program at the Oak and Anchor," Mr Robertson said.
"It's all come about on the back of COVID. The government is looking at promoting regional Victoria. We're extremely lucky in this area because there's so many beautiful things to promote in Port Fairy, Koroit, Warrnambool and the region and then to have Ross and Russel, who have a massive radio following across Victoria, on board is a massive bonus. We've all been impacted by COVID but to have Ross and Russel promoting this region it should help keeping us on the map as one of the great destinations in Victoria."
The program will be broadcast live from 5.30am to 8.30am.
