The playing mentor, who kicked 10 goals on Saturday, praised his side's ball movement across the ground in its second straight thumping victory to start the Warrnambool and District league season.
"We got our game going and once we got ascendency in the middle we were pretty direct with the footy and made the most of our opportunities," he said.
"Every time it came in it felt like we were going to score."
The Bulldogs piled on 20-plus goals for the second straight week in the 22.15 (147) to 2.3 (15) victory over Old Collegians.
Bant praised his midfield group but also his defence, which has conceded just three goals in two weeks.
"Our midfield has been good in giving us good looks, running hard and they're coming in with no pressure so they use the ball pretty well," he said.
"We've managed to recruit some good midfielders who have got good skills and they've made a bit of difference.

"More than anything they (defenders) are rebounding. They win the footy and have learnt to take off and be creative.
"They can be a dead set stopper and they really get on end of it and are working their forwards over and get them out of position.
"The backline has been awesome to concede one and two goals in consecutive weeks is unheard of."
Panmure plays Nirranda in round three next weekend.
