The Power secured their second win of the Warrnambool and District league season with a big win over fellow finals fancies Merrivale at Noorat Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
Coach Ben Walsh was pleased how his young troops led the way in the 15.8 (98) to 3.11 (29) victory.
"I thought the boys were super and especially our kids as half our side are 21 or under, with three under 18s. They were outstanding and I think that is what it was on the back of," he said.
"Nick Hoare and Luke McConnell are playing as inside mids now when in the past they were on the flanks, pocket or wing.
"Ben O'Sullivan and Luke Justin are playing key roles down back. Joel Dillon is playing a lockdown role down back and Sam Kenna played his first game back from the (Greater Western Victoria) Rebels.
"Ryley Hutchins played his second game and kicked four. We aren't hiding them, we are putting them out there and putting them in key roles and they are coming along well."

Walsh said his youthful side was responding well to the confidence the experienced players were instilling in them.
"When you give them a specific role and some reasonability they respond really well," he said.
"Especially our backs where we gave them jobs and the young midfielders we tell them 'you're in the midfield and we need you to play well' and they feel that sense of responsibility and they go and play.
"We also like them to play to their strengths. Ryley Hutchins has kicked a lot of goals in junior footy so we want him kicking goals in senior footy and he kicked four and had seven or eight shots so it's exciting."

Scott Judd (knee) was the only injury in the win. Walsh said the midfielder would have scans during the week to determine his availability to play Russells Creek.
Merrivale coach Josh Sobey is hopeful his side will bounce back from the defeat when it hosts Timboon Demons next Saturday.
"The scoreboard doesn't look pretty and credit to them they took away a couple of our strengths," he said.
"We have to take a look at our entries and our ball movement going forward and where they were and what they represent.
"When you look at scoring shots being 23 to 14 it shouldn't be that far a blow-out and we still had 17 uncontested marks inside 50 so there is plenty to look at.
"It was certainly a bit of a reality check and we have a good bunch of blokes who are ready to work and will certainly take a lot out of it.
"I'm excited to see how they respond and we as coaches need to as well."
The Tigers got through the game unscathed.
