The Dennington brothers will suit up alongside each other for Kye's first senior game against Timboon Demons on Saturday.
Kye has a slight frame but is known for his vicious attack on the footy, a feature which helped convince coaches he was ready to crack into the senior side.
The 15-year-old, who is listed in club's under 18 side, impressed Dogs coach Ben Thornton in his maiden reserves hit-out this past week and earned a call-up.
Benny (Thornton) came over at training and pulled me aside. He said 'I reckon it's time to give Kye a game'.

"Benny (Thornton) came over at training and pulled me aside. He said 'I reckon it's time to give Kye a game'," Zeb told The Standard.
"It'll be good to play with each other."
Kye is expected to hold down an outside midfield role while Zeb will play his usual position at centre half-back.
"He should be all right, if he keeps out of the packs and doesn't try to do the stuff the big boys are doing," Zeb quipped.
"He should be right. He held his own in the reserves last week."
Zeb, 19, said Dennington's youth would be bolstered through the inclusion of experience at Timboon.
Premiership player Jake Boyle has returned after a stint on the sidelines while Jesse Lewis and Brad Rees will also come in. Boyle is expected to play forward while Rees and Lewis should take defensive posts.
"We've got a real young team. Not many of us have played many senior games," Zeb said.
"It's good to have Boyle back and the other boys to bring some of the experience and stuff to the side."
Thornton said Dennington would look to shore up its defensive game in search of its first triumph after a heavy round one loss to Panmure at home.
