The decision comes after Moyne council officers conducted a full inspection of the damage caused by the weekend's storm which trapped a family on the island on Sunday.

Moyne Shire mayor Daniel Meade has urged locals and visitors to stay away from the island.
"Despite notifications, signage and barricades around the Griffiths Street causeways and car park, we are still seeing people make the risky decision to go to the Island," Cr Meade said.
"The weather over the weekend has significantly undermined the footpaths, with the potential to collapse in some locations.
"While we regret having to close the island, especially during the school holidays, the safety of our community is paramount."
Planned works on the southern causeway that were due to commence next week have started early and are being done in conjunction with the storm repairs that are now required.
"With the heavy plant and equipment required to carry out the repairs, council requests that the public avoid the area while these necessary works are undertaken," Cr Meade said.
