Daryl Eden, 34, of no fixed address, appeared in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with offences.
The court heard the alleged offending started on February 27 when he stole about $900 cash from the wallet of an acquaintance who he allegedly owed money to.
Then on March 23, Mr Eden attended a female victim's home about 8am and a verbal argument commenced.
He allegedly punched the victim to the mouth, causing her lip to swell.
The offending allegedly continued on Saturday when Mr Eden arrived at a property in Hamilton's Kenna Avenue.
He was heavily intoxicated and riding a scooter.
The court heard he asked a male victim to borrow his bike to ride to buy cigarettes but the victim refused.
The pair allegedly fought, Mr Eden became enraged and threw a large chunk of wood at the victim's house, causing damage.
Mr Eden then allegedly stole the bike and rode away.
The court heard he was later located on Kenna Avenue by police and was arrested and conveyed to Warrnambool police station for interview.
A police prosecutor told the court the man was an unacceptable risk of endangering the safety and welfare of the community if released on bail.
He said Mr Eden was already on a 16-month community correction order after pleading guilty to offending in July last year.
Mr Eden, who was not legally represented, told the court he'd "had a bad run".
He became enraged at the magistrate and began yelling inside the court.
But magistrate Alan Spillane remanded the man in custody and advised him to seek legal advise "as soon as possible".
"You're the worst person to be speaking for you," Mr Spillane said.
Mr Eden will appear in court again on May 17.
