The Warrnambool and District Cricket Association club could add two more flags to its ranks across the Labour Day weekend, with teams in both the under 15 and under 17 deciders.
The Panthers' under 15 side will play off against another junior powerhouse in Brierly-Christ Church at Allansford on Sunday while their under 17 charges will battle Wesley-CBC at Port Fairy on Monday.
I think we just need to bowl really straight, just see how the wicket plays and hold our catches as well.
- Josh Lucas
To add to the intrigue - a win for the under 17s would secure a three-peat of premierships while the under 15 side could wrangle back-to-back flags.
Josh Lucas, an under 17 player, said executing basics would hold his side in good stead.
"I think we just need to bowl really straight, just see how the wicket plays and hold our catches as well," he said. "That'll be a big part of it. We've fielded well all season. Hopefully we can bat first and get a few runs on the board.
"We've had quite a few juniors coming through over the past few years and it's good to see them keep coming up from lower grades. It's exciting to (play another grand final) and hopefully we can get another one."
Under 15 player Joe Douglas, who also features in the under 17 side, said his side was confident heading into its grand final. The under 15 grand final will begin at 10.30am on Sunday while the under 17s will start at 11am on Monday.
