The funds raised will go towards furnishing a nearly $2 million specialist disability accommodation to be built in Terang.
Cooinda chief executive officer Janice Harris said the accommodation will support five participants.
"We're about to put out to tender a new building that will support five participants," she said.
"We've started doing some fundraising for things like furniture and white goods and water tanks which is what the money from the racing club will go towards.
"We've already got houses set up for this accommodation but they are quite old so this will be first specialist disability accommodation built under the NDIS system.
"We will provide the support care and independent living skills for the participants."
The purpose-built home will be modern and spacious; designed specifically to meet the disability needs of the five individuals who will be living there.
"We hope to have it built by the end of the year," Ms Harris said.
"We have about 120 participants all up and support about 30 people in some sort of accommodation.
"We're a not-for-profit so together with the house we will supply a vehicle - around $60-70,000 for a Toyota HiAce - so any donations will be welcome.
"All up we're looking at around $1.75 million."
For over 50 years Cooinda has served the communities of Terang, Camperdown and the surrounding district providing a quality range of services to adults with a disability and their families.
